The Adam Riley twin

Well, summer is officially here at the Tuckered household. I spend as many afternoons as possible in the pool, on the new deck might I add, and playing with this sweet pea!!

It's a rough life, but someone has to live it!! On the down side, I have the 2 year old fits and dirty diapees to go along with this face.

Let the Cheering Begin

No, not for me. I am just a human, if you really want to cheer someone on, turn to God. He's the one who does everything and deserves recognition.

My title refers to HS cheerleading. We had our first parent meeting tonight. I think it went well. I had most everything lined out and Peanut was good considering.....I do believe I stressed some parents with the money issue. However, I have tried to space the obligations out to lessen the burden.

I do have an assistant now. Funny, she is my cousin too just on the other side..... :) She is one of the cheer moms, but the best part is that she is also the school secretary so she knows everything from that aspect.

The preacher man is coming up with an easy bulletin for me to do every week. I swear, he is doing this on his own, I didn't ask for it.....However, something needs to be done. I should not have to spend hours every week to type something and make it look pretty only to find out that the information has now changed or people didn't read it to start with. Kinda reminds me of teenagers......their lives are so dramatic and then they don't listen!

VBS Week

Our VBS is this week. So, getting a 2 year old down from his energetic high every night could add to my challenging life without sleep. Yes, we are on month 2 of this madness. However, I did get away from his bed by 9:40 pm and actually saw my husband. Some days I forget what he looks like!

Peanut's BD party was Saturday. He had so much fun! His favorite gifts were the tonka dump truck and the cozy coupe car. Yes, he is all boy! He spent much of his evening filling the dump truck with dirt.

I promise I have taken pictures, but I am NOT doing it now. Sorry, I will soon.....I now I keep saying that.

On a different note, any suggestions on how to make the "paci" go away permanently? I thought about giving it to Bee-Bee Penny and see how well that works...Idk.....we are still trying to stay in the bed all night. I suppose I shouldn't rush him to do too much growing up this summer.

Oh, the pool is open, but the water is cold. Maybe by the end of this humid week, I will get in. We should have the beginning of a deck next week. Yippee! A vacation by the pool!!!! Now, if I could just get Peanut to take a long nap.....
